Welcome to the online world of The Heat. As a very dedicated, enthusiastic and motivational personal trainer, I wanted to create a different kind of web site for users all over the world, as well as for the ones I train from locally in Devon, England and sometimes around other parts of the country. I think it's important to share your knowledge with as many people as possible, so over the forthcoming months you'll notice that the site will be expanding, providing more and more information to the training community. So expect exciting stuff!



The site is expanding all the time. The newly introduced Lunch Box Diet and Training Buddy have been a long time in development, so this is a very exciting time for me. The site's members area will be constantly updated with new information and i'll be offering plenty of free items to non members too! But what about 'The Heat' and Personal Training? Well, first of all prior to becoming a trainer, I wanted to ensure that the knowledge I would be passing onto my clients was to the highest standard. Even with years and years of training experience, can you really pass on professional advice that will lead to people physically changing their bodies without an appropriate qualification? I don't think so. What you hear and pick up in the gym from friends and training partners can often be inaccurate and although sometimes justified will not always suit your training needs. With this in mind I embarked on Premier Training International's coveted Personal Training Diploma. As well as fitness instruction, I am also a qualified Body Massage/Sports Massage Therapist, Nutritional Advisor and Circuit trainer.



I would encourage anyone looking to hire a personal trainer that as well as picking someone who has the right style for their training needs, they also have the professional knowledge to back up their enthusiasm and passion for personal training, otherwise you can be lending yourself to potential safety issues, of which there are many when you enter
any kind of fitness regime.

My philosophy is simple. Train hard, eat sensibly and you'll reach your objectives. No cheating and plenty of sweat! My fitness testing equipment and screening process will enable me to set your own personal limits, so I can provide both a safe and effective workouts. What’s more, regular testing will provide you with constant updates on your progress, but needless to say you'll feel the benefits yourself; you'll feel more energetic, lively and confident. We'll work together to get your mind set right and in turn this will benefit your physical activity in the gym.

On a final note, whatever path you decide to take, keep up your training! Work hard, enjoy it and you'll reach your goals.
